A low-cut model has been released that inherits the technology of the brand's first lightweight hiking boot, "Rainier," which was created in 1982 at the request of a famous mountaineer.
Like the original model, it features a Vibram outsole and flat shoelaces, and features a full-grain leather/CORDURA® upper with an embossed flying NB logo in an original color.

Rainier？レーニアって何？ってぐらいな感じでした。
歴史のある靴・ハイキングブーツ……。
ハイキングなんてしないしな……。
ですが思い切って買いました、惹かれたのは「歴史」です。
試着段階の感想ですが、いやあ驚きました。
軽い！フワフワ！優しい！
なにこの履き心地！？って感じたのはニューバランスの中でも最上位でした。
靴の世界が広がった、と感じた靴です。
