秋冬用に普段履きできるものをオンラインサイトで探していたところ、落ち着きのある黒色でミッドカットタイプに出会い、しかもセール価格に思わず購入。履き心地はいいですが足先がマイサイズに比べやや小さいように思います。

普通の厚さのソックスを履いて実寸27cm、足囲26.5cmでニューバランスだと概ね28cmの2Eを履いてます。ミッドカットはニューバランスでは初めてですが、サイズ感はちょうどいいけど足首が曲げにくい。元々、ミッドカットは山登りなどで足首保護のためだと思うけど、防水（撥水）じゃないしそういう用途にはあまり向かないっぽいので、ミッドカットの必要性があまりないような気がする。
