A deconstructed version of the "M1906D", a product eligible for the sustainability program, made using eco-friendly materials and processes.
The concept is a repurposing of the pattern technique of the "1906," which was released in 2010 as a performance model of the "MR2002." The shoe features a heavy upper equipped with N-lock and finished with textured suede/mesh, and is made with New Balance's signature heritage colors and trendy natural colors.
The high-spec sole provides a comfortable fit.

ずっと気になっていたモデルがセールで安くなっていたので購入しました。
スゥエード部分の黒は褪色した様な黒で良く取ればビンテージ感があるとも思えますが、色の切り替えも少ないので、全体的にぼんやりした色味の印象です。
2002Rとソールも同じで履き心地もそれ程大きな違いは感じませんが、つま先部分が1906の方が若干狭い感じです。また1906の方がメッシュの質や範囲からか足馴染みが良い様に感じました。
Nロックによるホールド感が評判でしたので期待していましたが、Nロックの部分のシューレースホールが緩くシューレースを上手く締め上げるのが難しくあまりホールド感を得る事が出来ませんでした。
あと、NロックのNの部分が塩ビの様な素材でうねうねしており、カラーもチープ感のあるシルバーでプロテクションパックの質感とマッチしていないと感じました。（アクセントになっていると捉えられなくもないですがw）

1996はスポーティー過ぎるかなと思っていたのですが、このデザインだとカジュアル感が増して何にでも合わせやすいです。
