The "580", which was released in 1996 as a pioneering trail running model and attracted a lot of attention on the Japanese street scene, is now being reissued.
The "MT580" was created as an improved version of the Made in USA "M585," which was released in 1995 as a trail running model. With its stable sole and robust upper, as well as the birth of numerous collaborations, it became one of New Balance's iconic models from the 1990s to the 2000s.
While retaining the solid 90's look with the ROLLBAR for stability, this model features a slim toe design that uses the SL-1 last.
The premium pigskin suede/textile upper gives off a high-quality look, and is stylishly colored using the previously used 580 colorway.

包み込むようなフィット感
シュータンが厚めでクッション性も良く快適
カラーも実物は思ったほど派手ではなかった
長時間歩くと足に負担がかかるみたいで少し痛む

MT580なので安定の履き心地です。ぶっちゃけUS,UKのモデルよりみ￥も580の方が履き心地がいいとさえ感じます。
このMT580 AB2に関してはカラーリングが秋っぽいので、季節は選ぶといった感じですが気に入っています！

年末年始のプロモーション期間に購入しました。
オリーブカラーと迷いましたがキャメルカラーとイエローがインパクト大でコチラをチョイス。

割と細めのデザインで普段から900番台や1000番台の細めのラストを履いているので全く問題ない履き心地です。

黒やグレーなどの洋服が多いので、足元にインパクトあるカラーをコーディネートすることでアクセントになってて良いです。

当時のコラボ580を知る方からすれば、手に入れたい1足だと思います。カラーリングも痺れる配色。
どのシリーズにも言えるかもしれませんが、軽くて長時間履いても、脚が痛くなったり、浮腫むことがありません。ミッドソールの素材が劣化しそうな気がします。
